Repair versus rebuild
Both Rejuran and GOURI are injected into the skin and both are grouped under "skin boosters", but they are designed to do different jobs. Rejuran's polynucleotides are thought to support the skin's own repair processes and improve hydration, which is why it is popular for skin that is thin, tired, easily irritated or recovering from other treatments. Many patients describe the result as healthier, calmer, more resilient skin.
GOURI is a collagen stimulator. It is a liquid form of polycaprolactone (PCL) that spreads through the treated layer and prompts the body to produce new collagen over the following weeks and months. The aim is not a calmer surface but more substance: denser, firmer skin with improved elasticity and fine texture, without adding visible volume or shape.
A practical way to think of it: Rejuran strengthens the soil; GOURI adds structure.
How Doje Clinic uses each
Doje's skin care is organised by concern. Under hydration and soothing, Rejuran is added selectively — it is not a default add-on. GOURI (or Re2O) appears in pore and texture care, in hydration care, and as an option in the Mid-Face and Marionette programmes, where better skin quality complements a thread lift. Around the eyes, the Eye Program lists both Eye Rejuran and GOURI/Re2O options. Dr. Byun Jeik decides which suits after a 1:1 consultation, often informed by Mark-View 3D data.

When Doje combines them
The two can complement each other when skin is both fragile and lacking substance — for instance, a patient in their 50s with thin, reactive skin that has also lost density. Rejuran may be used first or alongside to improve resilience, with GOURI building collagen in the areas that need firmness. Because both involve injections into the skin, Doje plans the order and spacing rather than stacking them by default.
Which should you choose?
- Rejuran — if skin is thin, reactive, dehydrated or recovering from other treatments.
- GOURI — if skin is reasonably healthy but lacks density, firmness or bounce.
- Both — if fragility and lost density occur together.
- Another route — if pores or rough texture dominate; see Rejuran vs exosome.
Recovery and aftercare
Use gentle skincare and sun protection, avoid makeup on injection points for the advised period, and avoid saunas briefly. See skin booster aftercare.

Frequently asked questions
What is the main difference between Rejuran and GOURI?
Rejuran is a polynucleotide booster focused on repair and hydration; GOURI is a PCL collagen stimulator focused on density and firmness.
Which is better for sensitive skin?
Rejuran is often considered for sensitive or thin skin, added selectively after assessment.
Which is better for firmness?
GOURI is usually more relevant when the goal is denser, firmer skin through new collagen.
Does GOURI add volume like filler?
No. It is designed to improve skin quality rather than add shape or volume.
Can I have both?
Yes, when skin is both fragile and lacking density. Doje plans the order and spacing.
