What is Re2O?

Skin is not only cells. Most of its strength comes from the extracellular matrix (ECM) — the scaffold of collagen, elastin and other proteins that cells live in. With age, sun exposure and repeated inflammation, this scaffold thins and becomes less organised, and skin starts to look less dense and more fragile.

Re2O, marketed as Elravie Re2O (리투오), is a skin booster derived from purified acellular human dermal matrix (hADM). In simple terms, it is processed dermal matrix material with the cells removed, prepared as an injectable. Its purpose in aesthetics is to support the skin's own matrix rather than to add filler-like volume. Re2O Fine is a version suited to finer, more delicate areas such as around the eyes.

How Doje Clinic uses Re2O

Doje Clinic lists Re2O together with GOURI as “GOURI/Re2O” across several programs — the Mid-Face, Marionette and Eye Programs — and in the pores and texture and hydration lines of Skin & Energy care. Re2O Fine is a named option in the Eye Program. The pairing is deliberate: both aim at skin quality and firmness, but through different approaches, so Dr. Byun Jeik chooses the one that fits the skin.

Re2O tends to be considered where skin has become thin and less dense, and where a matrix-supporting approach is appropriate. It is never a replacement for lifting when there is sagging, or for filler where a defined hollow needs volume. Consistent with Doje's philosophy, it is added only as far as needed within a 1:1 plan.

Recovery and results

Mild swelling, redness and small bumps or bruises are typical for a day or a few days, depending on area. Avoid saunas, alcohol and strenuous exercise for about 48 hours and keep skin moisturised and sun-protected. Improvement is gradual; how much and how quickly varies between individuals.
