Planning timeline for an overseas visit
Treatment abroad works smoothly when the medical plan and the travel plan are built together. A practical sequence:
- Several weeks before: message the clinic with your concern, age, relevant medical history, previous procedures and a few clear, unfiltered photos in daylight. Ask for preliminary guidance on what is likely to be discussed.
- When booking flights: check Doje's hours — Mon, Tue, Thu and Fri 10:00–19:00, Sat 10:00–17:00, closed Wednesday, Sunday and public holidays — and avoid Korean holiday periods if possible.
- One to two weeks before: review medicines and supplements that increase bruising with your own doctor, and avoid starting new active skincare.
- Day one or two in Seoul: attend the 1:1 consultation. Early scheduling leaves room for treatment, a check if needed and some recovery before flying.
- Before departure: make sure you have written aftercare instructions and a way to message the clinic from home.
How long should you stay?
This depends entirely on the plan. Injectables and skin boosters often need little downtime, while thread lifting or combined programmes may bring swelling or bruising for several days in many people. As a rule of thumb, leave a buffer between your last treatment and a long-haul flight, and between treatment and important photographs. Our dedicated guide on how many days to stay in Seoul and the advice on flying after treatment go into more detail.

Two faces, same treatment, different results.
The difference is the design. Tell us your goals and dates; in your 1:1 consultation Dr. Byun Jeik shows you what your face needs, and what it doesn't.
Communicating with the clinic
Messaging apps make cross-border planning easier. Choose whichever you already use:
- WhatsApp — widely used by visitors from Europe, the Middle East, South and Southeast Asia and the Americas.
- LINE — common for visitors from Japan, Taiwan and Thailand.
- KakaoTalk — Korea's main messenger, convenient if you already have it.
- Instagram DM or the online form.
English inquiries are welcome. If you would prefer to consult in another language or bring an interpreter, say so when booking so the clinic can confirm arrangements in advance. See English consultation in Seoul.
Information to send in advance
- Your main concern and what you would like to change — or keep.
- Age and general health, including pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Current medications and supplements, and any allergies.
- Previous filler, threads, toxin, laser or device treatments with approximate dates.
- Your arrival and departure dates.
Choosing a realistic plan for a short trip
Dr. Byun Jeik designs plans to the face, but for overseas visitors the calendar also matters. Some options suit a short stay — the One-Day Program is designed to be completed in a single day. Others are better staged across visits, with an initial step now and a follow-up on a later trip. Doje's principle of using treatments only as far as needed is especially helpful here: fewer, well-chosen steps mean less recovery to manage away from home.
Cost
Fees are quoted after the 1:1 consultation and depend on the plan. Ask for a written quote. Korean non-covered (비급여) aesthetic fees are set per plan; confirm payment methods when you book.
