The three things that decide your stay
Trip length is less about the treatment itself, which may take an hour or two, and more about what happens around it.
- Consultation and treatment timing. Treatment can sometimes follow the consultation on the same day if suitability is confirmed, but after a long-haul flight many people prefer to rest first.
- The early swelling window. The first two to three days are when swelling and bruising are most likely. Flying, heavy lifting and long days of sightseeing are easier once that has passed.
- A chance to be reviewed. For thread lifting and larger filler plans, a check before you leave is reassuring, so build in a day for it.
Suggested stays by plan
These are typical starting points, not rules; your own plan sets the real minimum.
| Plan | Minimum | More comfortable |
|---|---|---|
| Botox, Skin Botox, Helios toning, Aquapeel | 1 day | 2 days |
| Skin boosters (Rejuran, GOURI, Re2O) | 1–2 days | 3 days |
| Energy-device lifting | 1–2 days | 3 days |
| Filler | 2 days | 4 days |
| Thread lift or One-Day program | 4–5 days | 7 days or more |
| CO2 laser or double-chin liposuction | 5–7 days | 7–10 days |

Two faces, same treatment, different results.
The difference is the design. Tell us your goals and dates; in your 1:1 consultation Dr. Byun Jeik shows you what your face needs, and what it doesn't.
Build your trip around the clinic calendar
Doje Clinic is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 10:00 to 19:00 (lunch 13:00–14:00) and Saturday from 10:00 to 17:00 without a lunch break. It is closed on Wednesdays, Sundays and Korean public holidays, including multi-day holidays such as Seollal and Chuseok. Check these against your dates before booking flights.
A midweek closure can actually help. An example for a thread lift visitor:
- Monday: arrive and rest near Apgujeong or Cheongdam
- Tuesday: consultation and treatment
- Wednesday: clinic closed, a natural quiet recovery day
- Thursday or Friday: review visit
- Saturday onward: fly home, or stay longer if your plan allows
Before you travel: a checklist
- Send recent photos and your goals in advance via WhatsApp, KakaoTalk or LINE
- List your medications and supplements, including blood thinners
- Avoid booking long flights in the first day or two after injectables or threads if you can
- Stay within easy reach of Apgujeong Rodeo Station
- Pack a scarf, sunglasses, sun protection and soft-food snacks
- Keep a little buffer in case the doctor advises staging the plan
If your time is short
With only a day or two, Dr. Byun Jeik will prioritise lower-downtime options, or the One-Day program where suitable, and suggest saving more involved steps for a later trip. A shorter stay changes what is sensible to do; it should never mean rushing a treatment that needs recovery time.
Cost
Trip length does not set the fee: costs are quoted after a 1:1 consultation, and you can ask for a written quote. Korean non-covered (비급여) aesthetic fees are set per plan.

Frequently asked questions
Can I have treatment on the day I arrive?
It is possible if your consultation confirms suitability, but after a long flight many people prefer to rest and be treated the next day.
Can I fly the day after filler?
Many people do, but swelling can feel more noticeable in the cabin. Allowing two or more days is often more comfortable; ask the doctor for your plan.
Should I book a review before leaving Seoul?
For thread lifting or larger filler plans, a review before departure is sensible. For Botox or toning it is usually optional.
Is Doje Clinic open on Sundays?
No. The clinic is closed on Wednesdays, Sundays and public holidays. Saturday hours are 10:00 to 17:00.
What if I have a concern after I return home?
Contact the clinic via WhatsApp, KakaoTalk or LINE with photos. For anything urgent, see a local doctor promptly as well.
