What is the Doje Wedding Program?

A wedding is one of the few occasions with a fixed date, hours of close-up photography and an audience. That changes how aesthetic care should be planned. The question is not only "what would help?" but "what can be done, healed and fully settled before that day?" The Doje Wedding Program answers that question for each person individually.

Rather than a fixed menu, the program is a timeline. Treatments that build gradually, such as collagen-stimulating devices and skin boosters, are placed early. Treatments with visible swelling or bruising, such as thread lifting or filler, are placed where there is enough margin to recover. The final weeks are kept for gentle, low-risk care only.

How Doje Clinic plans around your date

At the 1:1 consultation Dr. Byun Jeik reviews your face, skin and goals, then asks practical questions: the date, whether there is a pre-wedding photo shoot, whether you are travelling for the ceremony, and how comfortable you are with downtime. Grooms and family members are welcome; parents of the couple often want a subtle refresh rather than a visible change, and the plan reflects that.

A typical framework, adjusted to each person, looks like this:

  • Months before: skin quality and pigment care (for example Helios toning), skin or collagen boosters, and energy devices such as Ultherapy Prime or Thermage whose effects develop over weeks to months.
  • Several weeks before: structural work if needed, such as a Doje signature thread lift (실리프팅) or filler, leaving time for swelling to settle and for any refinement.
  • A few weeks before: Botox for expression lines or jaw contour, which typically takes up to two weeks to show its full effect.
  • Final fortnight: hydration and soothing care only, nothing new.

Two faces, same treatment, different results.

The difference is the design. Tell us your goals and dates; in your 1:1 consultation Dr. Byun Jeik shows you what your face needs, and what it doesn't.

Who it suits — and who it doesn't

  • Suits couples who want to look like themselves at their best, rather than different.
  • Suits family members who want a gentle, coordinated refresh for the occasion.
  • Suits people with a pre-wedding photo shoot that is earlier than the ceremony itself.
  • Less suitable when only days remain: there is then little room for anything beyond soothing and hydration care.
  • Not suitable for some components during pregnancy or breastfeeding; tell the clinic if this applies.

What to expect, step by step

  1. First consultation: goals, date, photo shoot and travel plans; Mark-View 3D skin analysis where skin is a focus.
  2. Written timeline: each visit placed on a calendar working back from the date.
  3. Early visits: skin and device sessions that need time to build.
  4. Middle visits: structural treatments if included, with a review afterwards.
  5. Final visit: soothing or hydration care and a last check, well before the day.

Recovery and planning margins

Planning margins matter more than the treatments themselves. Everyone heals differently, and bruising can occasionally last longer than average. Doje therefore leaves buffer time rather than scheduling right up to the deadline, and avoids introducing a treatment you have never had before in the final weeks. Between visits, consistent sunscreen, gentle skincare and good sleep do a great deal of the work.

Cost

Because the program is built from your timeline and chosen components, the fee is quoted after your 1:1 consultation. Ask for a written quote that lists each stage. Korean non-covered (비급여) aesthetic fees are set per plan.

Frequently asked questions

How far ahead should I start?

Ideally several months before the wedding, so gradual treatments have time to build. Shorter timelines are possible but more conservative.

Can the groom or our parents join?

Yes. The program is designed for brides, grooms and families, each with their own plan.

What should I avoid just before the wedding?

Anything new or with visible downtime in the final weeks. Gentle hydration and soothing care are usually the safest choices.

When should I have Botox before the wedding?

Typically a few weeks before, since Botox usually takes up to about two weeks to reach its full effect.

Is a thread lift possible before a wedding?

It can be, if it is scheduled with enough time for swelling to settle; timing is set at consultation.
