Key facts
| Can treatments be combined? | Often yes, when the order and the total downtime are planned |
|---|---|
| General order | Energy devices first, then threads, then filler and Botox, then soothing care |
| Common pairings | Thread lift + ligament filler; lifting device + Botox; Potenza + exosome |
| Main trade-off | Swelling and downtime add up |
| Doje principle | Combine only as far as needed, never every device as a package |
| Where | Doje Clinic, Apgujeong Rodeo Station Exit 5, Seoul |
Why the order matters
When several treatments are done on the same day, sequence is not a detail; it affects both safety and the result. A few principles are widely followed:
- Energy before injectables. Heat and the pressure of a handpiece over freshly placed filler is generally avoided, and swelling from injections would change how energy is delivered. Devices such as Ultherapy Prime, Thermage, Softwave or ONDA usually come first.
- Lift before volume. After tissue is repositioned with a thread lift, some hollows look smaller, so filler is judged after the lift rather than before.
- Channels before boosters. With exosome + Potenza pumping, microneedling creates channels and the exosome is applied afterwards.
- Calm last. Soothing care, oxygen therapy or LED finish the session.
Combinations that commonly work well
| Combination | Why it pairs well |
|---|---|
| Thread lift + retaining-ligament filler | Repositions tissue and restores the support point; the core of the Mid-Face program |
| Lower-face thread lift + double-chin liposuction | Addresses sagging and fat together; part of the Jawline program |
| Ultherapy Prime + Botox | Deep tightening plus relaxed expression lines |
| Potenza + autologous exosome | Texture and pore work with regenerative support |
| Thread lift + exosome + oxygen therapy | The One-Day program, designed for limited time |
| Helios toning + soothing care | Pigment work with a calmer recovery |

Two faces, same treatment, different results.
The difference is the design. Tell us your goals and dates; in your 1:1 consultation Dr. Byun Jeik shows you what your face needs, and what it doesn't.
When Doje would split treatments instead
Combining is a tool, not a goal. Dr. Byun Jeik may recommend separate sessions when:
- Two treatments would cause heavy swelling in the same zone, such as ablative CO2 laser and significant filler
- Swelling would hide the true result and make the second step guesswork
- It is your first treatment and it is useful to see how your skin responds
- You fly soon after, and a staged plan keeps the visible downtime smaller
- The skin barrier is irritated, sunburnt or recovering from another procedure
What a combined day typically looks like
- 1:1 consultation with Dr. Byun to confirm the plan and the order.
- Mark-View 3D analysis where skin data will guide the plan.
- Cleansing and numbing appropriate to each step.
- Energy-device step, chosen by depth, sagging, fat and elasticity.
- Thread lifting, if planned, under local anaesthetic.
- Filler and Botox, judged on the lifted face.
- Soothing care and a personalised aftercare briefing.
Downtime when you combine
Combining saves visits but concentrates recovery. Expect swelling to reflect the most invasive step, plus a little more. The upside is that one recovery period covers several improvements, which is why combined plans suit visitors with limited days, provided the timing before flights and events is realistic. See the downtime guide for typical windows.
Cost
Combined plans are priced as a whole after a 1:1 consultation; ask for a written quote. Korean non-covered (비급여) aesthetic fees are set per plan, so adding or removing a step changes the quote.

Frequently asked questions
Can I have Botox and filler on the same day?
Yes, this is a common combination. They act on different layers, and the doctor plans the order and placement so they work together.
Can Ultherapy be done after filler on the same day?
The energy device is usually applied first. If you already have filler in the area, tell the doctor so settings and zones can be planned around it.
Is it safe to combine a thread lift and filler?
It is a common pairing when planned by an experienced doctor. Lifting first and judging volume afterwards usually means less filler is needed.
How long does a combined session take?
It varies with the plan. Allow several hours including consultation, numbing and recovery time before you leave.
What is the One-Day program?
It combines a signature thread lift with Doje autologous exosome and oxygen therapy in a single visit, designed for people with limited time.
